Nizamsagar Project. The Nizamsagar project is a multipurpose project, constructed in Nizamabad district in Telengana area of Andhra Pradesh. The project was completed on Manjira River in 1931, a tributary of Godavari, which was a single state river.The canals and distribution system was completed in late 1935.
